SMS Notifications

HiveRx sends text messages on behalf of pharmacies and healthcare providers for account-related and security purposes, including one-time verification codes and prescription status updates.

How You Consent

You may consent verbally by phone when speaking with your pharmacy or healthcare provider. Staff will ask for your permission before enabling text messages. No checkbox or online form is required.

By providing your mobile number to a participating pharmacy, prescriber, or healthcare organization, you authorize them to enter your number into the HiveRx platform and allow us to send transactional messages on their behalf.

Example Consent Language

When pharmacy staff request your consent, they will use language similar to the following:

"Do we have your permission to send you text messages about your prescriptions and account activity? Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to opt out or HELP for assistance."

Types of Messages

We may send the following categories of transactional text messages:

  • One-time verification codes (OTPs) for secure login
  • Prescription pickup alerts
  • Refill reminders
  • Order confirmations
  • Shipping or delivery updates
  • Billing or payment notices
  • Other non-marketing, account-related notifications

These messages do not contain marketing content.

Data Usage

We collect and store mobile phone numbers solely to deliver transactional SMS messages. We do not sell or share phone numbers with third-party marketers.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
